Be Forever Yamato: Rebel 3199 Wave Motion Experiment Ship Ginga to be released as a plastic model in January 2026

It has been announced that the latest installment in the remake series of the popular anime "Space Battleship Yamato," "Be Forever Yamato: Rebel 3199," will be released in January 2026 as a plastic model kit, "1/1000 Wave Motion Experimental Ship Ginga [3199]" (Bandai Spirits). The price is 6,050 yen.

The Ginga, sister ship of the Space Battleship Yamato, is recreated in 1/1000 scale. Effect parts are included to recreate the firing of the main guns. The bridge dome parts are for color reproduction, and colorless clear parts are included for use with the separately sold LED unit. The included display stand allows you to attach aircraft carriers.
