"Tetsuko's Room" August 27th broadcast special featuring first appearances of stars in their 70s

Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi), which will be broadcast at 1:00 p.m. on August 27th, will feature footage of the first appearance of a star in his 70s.

Actor Kaoru Yumi, a third-degree Aikido holder, said, "It's exhilarating to throw an 80-kilogram man!" Singer Mari Natsuki performed the choreography for her hit song "Kinu no Sokutsu" (Silk Socks) in the studio.

Actor Masao Kusakari shared his fond memories of when he first left his hometown of Kokura, Kitakyushu. Actor Takeshi Kaga smiled wryly at a photo of him as a charming baby. Singer Rumiko Koyanagi spoke of her feelings toward her mother, who supported her.
