The seventh episode of the TV drama "The Kidnapping Day" (TV Asahi, Tuesdays at 9pm), starring actor Saito Takumi, was broadcast on August 19th, and the true nature of Shiori, played by Yumi Adachi, was revealed, causing a stir.

The original work is a drama of the same name (2023) that became a hot topic in Korea. It is a mystery story about Shinjo Masamune (played by Saito), who becomes a kidnapper to pay for his daughter's heart disease surgery, and Nanase Rin (Yuno Nagao), a genius girl with amnesia whose parents were murdered, who evades the pursuit of mysterious men and approaches the truth of the murder case.
In episode 7, detective Tsukasa Sunouchi (Yōsuke Eguchi) visits the orphanage where Masamune and his wife Shiori grew up. There, Shiori's lies are revealed one after another.
Meanwhile, Masamune discovers security camera footage in Shiori's room that was missing from the Nanase family murder scene...
