The fourth episode of Fuji TV's " Getsuku" drama "Tomorrow Will Be a Better Day " (Mondays 9pm), starring Haruka Fukuhara , aired on July 28th. The exchange between child psychologist Makita Himawari (Ikuta Erika) and high school girl Ishida Hazuki (Shiratori Tamaki) became a hot topic among viewers.
◇The following contains spoilers
Himawari has been concerned about Hazuki ever since she was rescued five years ago after being found wandering around late at night when she was a first-year middle school student. Even now, she still makes time to spend with her every Wednesday and keeps an eye on her.
However, when Hazuki is once again taken into custody for loitering late at night, Himawari worries about the relationship between Hazuki and her boyfriend, restaurant manager Nagano Atsushi (Komagine Akita), and advises her, "Maybe he's just using you."
Hazuki became annoyed and pushed the cup off the table, telling Himawari, "You're annoying. Don't ever contact me again!"
Afterwards, Himawari and Hazuki faced each other again. "I didn't want you to get hurt, Hazuki. I didn't want you to have to go through any more pain. That's why I thought you'd dislike me, but I couldn't just leave you alone," Himawari told Hazuki. "But I'm going to stop now. As long as you're alive, that's fine. Whatever you choose, I'll accept whatever path you choose. But if things get tough, you can always rely on me. I'll always be by your side," she told Hazuki with a gentle expression.
Hazuki, who had been listening with a serious expression, bowed to Himawari and said, "Hima-chan was the one who thought about me the most, but you distanced yourself from me. I'm sorry, Hima-chan. I'll be happy."
Hearing this, Himawari had tears in her eyes...
On social media, the post became a hot topic, with comments such as "Ikuta's gentle expression was great," "I'm so glad that the bond between Himawari and Hazuki has been restored," "Himawari's tears made me cry too," and "Himawari's kindness is summed up in her beautiful tears."
Set in a seaside child consultation center, the story follows Tsubasa Natsui (played by Fukuhara) as a new child welfare officer, as he faces a variety of children and their parents and grows together with them. This will be Fukuhara's first lead role in a Getsuku drama.
