NHK's documentary program "Document 72 Hours" (General TV, Friday 10pm) will be broadcast on July 25th at a standing Kishimen noodle shop on the platform of the Tokaido Shinkansen Nagoya Station. What kind of travelers will they meet?
There is a place where many travelers come in search of Nagoya's specialty, Kishimen noodles. It is a stand-up restaurant in a corner of the platform at Nagoya Station on the Tokaido Shinkansen line. There are only eight seats at the counter, and it is so spacious that people can barely pass each other. Even so, it is almost always busy with customers.
Some people eat Kishimen before going on a business trip, some people buy an admission ticket just to visit, and some people come to taste the flavor that brings back memories before visiting their mother. We listened to the reasons why each person can't help but stop by.
The program is a documentary program that sets up a camera at one location each time and observes the various human dramas that occur there for 72 hours. It listens to the stories of people who meet by chance and captures the "present" era.
