The event "KAKUEKI! The Scorching Hot B&ZAI Derby," featuring the new junior group "B&ZAI," which was formed in February this year and is affiliated with STARTO ENTERTAINMENT, opened on July 18th at EX Theater Roppongi (Minato Ward, Tokyo).
This event is part of the variety show "Kakueki!" (TV Asahi, Saturday 4pm, excluding some areas) in which B&ZAI appear, and sees the eight members compete in a variety of projects that test their intelligence, physical strength, luck and variety skills. A ranking will be determined through all 11 performances, and the top four will face off on a "heavenly two-day, one-night location shoot that will give them the ultimate experience," while the bottom four will face off on a "tough, dirty, and borderline-exhausting two-day, one-night location shoot in hell." The event will be held at the same venue until the 24th.
On the first day of the show on the 18th, they performed "Idols Get Ready to Get Up Early." The eight members appeared in pajamas and showed off their quick costume changes, entertaining the fans. In the live section towards the end of the show, they performed "Yamanote Line Outer Circle" (Tackey & Tsubasa) and B&ZAI's original song "First Beat," and the venue was in a frenzy.
The final performance on the 24th at 4pm will also be streamed live on TV Asahi Video. The price of a streaming ticket is 2,500 yen. After the live stream ends, the archived version will be available for viewing until the 31st (the period may be subject to change).
