Singer Hiroko Moriguchi's album "GUNDAM SONG COVERS" covers songs from the popular anime series "Gundam", a spin-off of the series, "GUNDAM SONG COVERS -ORCHESTRA-", is now available for digital distribution, including high resolution, on July 16th.
The final chapter of the "GUNDAM SONG COVERS" series, "3," was released in 2022, but in response to calls for an encore, a spin-off based on the concept of "Hiroko Moriguchi x Gundam Song x Full Orchestra" was released on CD on June 18th.
The album features the Japan Pops Orchestra (Tacticato Orchestra), a group formed by young musicians active both in Japan and overseas, and features orchestral arrangements of 10 songs, including self-covers of Moriguchi's signature songs "With Love to the Water Planet" and "ETERNAL WIND ~Hohoemi wa Hikaru Kaze no Naka~". The jacket features a design of F91 from "Mobile Suit Gundam F91" and Moriguchi herself.
