The new cast of the NHK morning drama " Anpan " (General Asadora , Monday to Saturday at 8:00 am and others), starring Mio Imada , was announced on the official SNS on July 16th, revealing that Kubo Fumi of the idol group " Nogizaka46" will be making her first appearance in a Asadora as the popular singer Shiratori Tamae.
Tamae, played by Kubo, is a popular singer who sings " Te no Hira wo Taiyou ni ), a song written by Takashi ( Takumi Kitamura ). She is a character who asks Takashi for help with recital composition and other things.
Kubo commented, "It was a dream I had been pursuing for a long time, so I could feel my heart beating at all times on set, but the set was a truly warm place, with the Anpan team embracing me like a soft sun. I wonder how Tamae's powerful personality, toughness, and innocent character will influence Nobu-san (Imada-san) and Taka-san in the future... We sing, we mourn, and we laugh because we are alive. I hope that I can convey to everyone the preciousness of "living", which never changes even as time passes, through my songs. Thank you very much."
"Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobu (1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." It is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living, depicting how these two, who were once nobody, overcame all sorts of rough seas to become "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
