A figure of King Ghidorah from the 1972 film "Godzilla vs. Gigan" called "SHMonsterArts King Ghidorah (1972)" (Bandai Spirits) will be released for 30,800 yen.
Yuji Sakai, a leading figure in Godzilla modeling, produced the prototype, coloring, and modeling. The suit from 1972 was thoroughly recreated with reference to the original documents, and even the detailed shape of King Ghidorah's scales was carefully recreated. The neck, tail, and each joint can be flexibly moved. By displaying it with the separately sold "SHMonsterArts Godzilla (1972)", you can recreate battle scenes.
Pre-orders are being accepted on Bandai Namco Group's shopping site, Premium Bandai. Shipment is scheduled for November.
