It has been revealed that Izuku Midoriya(Deku) and Katsuki Bakugo , characters from Kohei Horikoshi's popular manga "My Hero Academia ," serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), will appear on the cover of the August/September combined special issue of men's fashion magazine "MEN'S NON-NO" ( Men's Non-no ), which goes on sale on Getsuku . The cover illustration is a new drawing by Horikoshi, depicting Deku and Bakugou dressed in the "5th All-Sized Men's Non-no's Non-no T-shirt" that appears in the work.
The cover illustration was designed with the theme, "What if the two of them coordinated their casual clothes on a 'full-size T-shirt?'" Horikoshi commented, "I thought of their casual clothes with the image of Deku as a middle school student in American casual wear, and Katsuki as a local yankee. This time, I stuck to colors that resembled the two of them, while keeping in mind the oversized silhouette to make it look like Men's Non-no." The cover illustration comes with an acrylic stand and acrylic charm top (only for the special edition), as well as an original illustration sticker (for both the regular edition and the special edition).
The issue will feature "My Hero Academia" and will feature a long interview with Horikoshi, in which he talks about the "Kohei Horikoshi' My Hero Academia' Original Art Exhibition" currently being held, as well as the anime and fashion. In addition to a conversation between Daiki Yamashita , who plays Deku in the anime, and Nobuhiko Okamoto , who plays Katsuki Bakugo , the issue will also feature artist Kocchi no Kento, who is known to be a fan of "My Hero Academia", and actor and model Meru Nukumi, who will also appear and talk about their love for the series.
