It has been announced that Wakana Matsumoto , Takanori Iwata of " J SOUL BROTHERS III from EXILE TRIBE" and Yoshikawa Ai will be doing the Japanese dubbing for the movie "Jurassic World: Resurrection of the Earth," which will be released on August 8th. This will be the first time that Matsumoto and Iwata will be doing dubbing for a movie. Yoshikawa has experience appearing in animation works, but this will be his first time dubbing for a live-action movie.
Matsumoto plays the film's protagonist, Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson), a former special agent who takes on a top-secret mission on the most dangerous island on Earth, Iwata plays dinosaur-obsessed paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis (Jonathan Bailey), who joins Zora on the mission, and Yoshikawa plays Teresa Delgado (Luna Blaze), who gets shipwrecked at sea and joins Zora and Dr. Loomis on the island.
The film is a new chapter in the "Jurassic" series, following "Jurassic Park" created by master director Steven Spielberg in 1993. Spielberg will serve as executive producer, and the film will be directed by Gareth Edwards, a video creator who has worked on "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" (2016) and "The Creator" (2023).
Set on the forbidden island where the top-secret research facility from the original "Jurassic Park" was located, the Zolas embark on a mission to obtain the DNA of three species of dinosaurs - land, sea and air - which are needed to develop a new drug that will provide a miraculous cure for heart disease.
It was also announced that a cast of talented voice actors will be dubbing the film. Zola's most trusted mercenary Duncan (Mahershala Ali) will be played by Kusunoki Daisuke, Martin Krebs (Rupert Friend), the CEO of a major pharmaceutical company, will be played by Daisuke Ono, Nina (Philippine Verges), a crew member heading to the dangerous island, Minami Takayama, Leclerc (Béchir Sylvain), a reliable crew member, will be played by Onishi Takeharu, and another crew member, Bobby Atwater (Ed Skrein), will be played by Tamaki Masashi.
In addition, Mikami Satoshi will play Ruben Delgado (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), who is shipwrecked at sea and joins Zora and the others, Minase Inori Minase Chiaki Kobayashi will play Teresa's boyfriend, Xavier Dobbs (David Jacono).
