The 64th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Anpan " (General TV, Monday to Saturday at 8:00 AM and others), starring Mio Imada , was broadcast on June 26th, and viewers were drawn to the reunion scene between Kentaro ( Fumiya Takahashi) and Meiko (Nanoka Hara).
In episode 64, Kentaro suddenly visits the Yanai family, and Takashi (Takumi Kitamura) is stunned. Kentaro returns to Fukuoka, but his family home has burned down, and all of his family members are safe.
When Taka was confused and asked, "Why are you here?", she hugged Taka and said, "Because Yanai-kun is here. It's decided!" and "I missed you! I wanted to see you." Chiyoko (Naho Toda), who was watching the situation, was impressed and said, "You two are really close," and welcomed Kentaro's visit by saying, "Please take your time."
Kentaro took Taka outside, saying, "Let's go find a job right away." Shortly after, the two were reunited with Meiko. When she saw Kentaro's face, Meiko began crying and ran over to the two, saying, "I'm still alive!"
When Meiko asked, "Kentaro... I thought you'd died in the war. Do you remember me?" Kentaro replied, "Of course. You're Norakuro Meiko, right?" When Taka muttered, "Norakuro for a girl your age...", Kentaro seemed unconcerned, saying, "Well, Norakuro is cute." When Taka retorted, "No, he's a dog. A... a male," Kentaro agreed, saying, "That's true," and apologized to Meiko.
Meiko, who had been watching the exchange between the two, expressed her gratitude with tears in her eyes, saying, "Thank you, Taka and Kentaro, for coming out alive." Kentaro replied, "You're welcome," and the three shared a laugh.
