LAZARUS Episode 12 Synopsis

The 12th episode of the original anime "LAZARUS" by director Shinichiro Watanabe, known for the anime "Cowboy Bebop," titled "CLOSE TO THE EDGE," will be broadcast on TV Tokyo on June 22nd.

Axel, who was seriously injured, lies between life and death. Abel meets with the president to rescue Hersh, who is being held captive by the Military Intelligence. He pleads for a presidential order to expose the information that the Military Intelligence is hiding. Abel finally comes face to face with the mastermind behind this incident. Meanwhile, Elaina, who was unconscious, meets with Lynn and finally locates Skinner's location.

The story is about a team of agents from around the world, Lazarus, who pursue Skinner, a genius scientist who developed a painkiller called Hapuna, which causes death three years after taking it, in order to save humanity.

Mamoru Miyano will play the protagonist Axel, who is imprisoned due to a certain incident but repeatedly escapes, and whose "hobby is escaping from prison." Voice actors include Makoto Furukawa, Maaya Uchida, Yuma Uchida, Manaka Iwami, Megumi Hayashibara Akio Otsuka, and Koichi Yamadera. MAPPA will produce the film.
