The first special visual for the TV anime "Silent Witch: The Secret of the Silent Witch," based on the light novel by Iku Matsuri, popular on the novel posting site "Shosetsuka ni Naro," has been released. The visual depicts the members of the Serendia Academy Student Council and Monica. The impressive visual shows all the student council members gathered together, with Felix in the center reaching out his hand, and Monica looking comically flustered, and is accompanied by the words "Welcome to the Serendia Academy Student Council."
It was also announced that a special program just before the broadcast will be live-streamed on YouTube and other platforms from 6:00 PM on June 28th. Saya Aizawa, who plays Monica Everett, Shogo Sakata, who plays Felix Ark Rydir, Yoshiki Nakajima, who plays Cyril Ashley, and M.A.O, who plays Reinsbelfied, will appear.
It was also announced that the event "Anime 'Silent Witch' x Furukawa Yohei Puzzle Solving Collaborative Event - If you can solve this, you're a quiz king too" will be held. A giant puzzle created by quiz king Furukawa Yohei will be exhibited at the Shibuya Chikamichi event space from 1pm on June 29th.
The series is a light novel written by Matsuri Iku and illustrated by Nanna Fujimi. Set in a world where humanity has lost the ability to use magic due to the elimination of incantations, it follows the exploits of Monica Everett, the "Silent Witch," a young genius magician who created the first chantless magic in history. Although Monica is one of the Seven Sages, the pinnacle of magicians in the Kingdom of Ridil, she is extremely shy and nervous around people. She retreats to the mountains and devotes herself to the study of magic, but is ordered to carry out a top-secret mission to infiltrate a prestigious school where aristocrats gather and protect the second prince. The series will air on TOKYO MX and other stations from July 4th.
