The 59th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Anpan " starring Mio Imada (General TV, Monday to Saturday at 8:00 am and others) was broadcast on June 19th, and viewers were drawn to the scene in which Yagi ( Satoshi Tsumabuki) explodes in anger.
In the last scene of the 58th episode (broadcast on June 18th), Iwao (Hamao Noritaka) was shot by Rin (Shibuya Soraji-kun) with a gun. When Baba (Itabashi Shunya) tried to run out, saying, "The kid ran away over there. Get him!", Iwao stopped him, saying, "Wait! That's not it! That kid... has nothing to do with it." Yagi said, "Then why did he run away?" and ran after Rin.
In episode 59, Iwao, who was shot, dies saying to Takashi (Takumi Kitamura) "Rin did well." Afterwards, Yagi explains to Takashi, "That child avenged her parents' death." Yagi discovers Rin hiding in the bushes and hears the story directly from Rin.
Lin's parents were shot dead a year ago during a guerrilla raid by the Japanese Army. Lin's mother died while shielding her from the attack. Lin witnessed the Japanese soldier who shot her mother, and it was Iwao. Lin said that he had taken revenge with his father's keepsake gun, and said with tears in his eyes, "But I still can't clear my heart at all." "Iwao was my kind teacher."
Yagi asks Takashi, "Do you hate Rin? Do you want to avenge your childhood friend?" When Takashi answers, "I don't know," Yagi tears up a piece of paper nearby that reads, "Consider the good people of the occupied territories to be your brethren," and calls it "This is nothing!"
He then asked Taka, "Do you remember that I told you that the way to survive on the battlefield is to be a coward?" and raised his voice, saying, "Cowards can forget, but those who are not cowards can never forget!" Yagi grabbed Taka by the collar and pushed him against the wall, exploding with rage that had no outlet. Taka cried and muttered, "I don't understand."
