Dandadan TV anime second season special

In preparation for the second season of the TV anime " Dandadan ," which is based on the popular manga by Yukinobu Tatsu that is currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+," it has been announced that a special program, "Anime Dandadan Just Before Season 2: If You Watch This, You'll Enjoy the Sequel Even More SP," will be broadcast on the MBS and TBS networks at 12:26 a.m. on June 26.

In addition to a condensed digest of the appeal of the first season, the program will delve deeper into the appeal of the series through comments from celebrities from various fields who are huge fans of the series, and behind-the-scenes stories from the director and cast. Aina the End, who will be performing the opening theme for the second season, will be the narrator. It will also feature enthusiastic comments from Mika Ninagawa, Noda Crystal from the comedy duo Magical Lovely, and WurtS, who will be performing the ending theme for the second season, saying "This is what's interesting!"

"Dandadan" began serialization in "Shonen Jump +" in April 2021. It depicts Momo, a high school girl from a family of spiritualists, and her classmate Okarun, an occult fanatic, as they face one strange phenomenon after another. The comic has sold over 10 million copies in total.

The first season of the TV anime aired on the MBS/TBS late-night anime slot "Super Animeism TURBO" from October to December 2024. The second season will air in the same slot starting July 3rd.
