Stills and album jacket-style art from the Netflix series "Glass Heart" (to be released on July 31), starring actor Takeru Satoh , were released on June 17. The images show the four-member band "TENBLANK" making a dashing entrance at a live venue, as well as the main character, played by Sato, singing passionately.
The film is a youthful music love story based on the manga of the same name by Mio Wakaki. Sato himself had been hoping to turn it into a film, and he has been working on the project with all his heart and soul, and he is also serving as co-executive producer.
The story is about the four-member band "TENBLANK," consisting of the solitary genius musician Naoki Fujitani (played by Sato) on bass and vocals, Hisashi Takaoka (played by Jun Shison Keita Machida ) on guitar, Kazushi Sakamoto (played by Shison Jun) on keyboards, and Akane Saijo (played by Miyazaki Yu) on drums. They face numerous obstacles, but despite their clashes, the members support each other and deepen their bonds.
It was also announced that Sato and the others had spent over a year trying to learn to play musical instruments, and would be making their major debut as "TENBLANK." In the preview video released last month, the song "Senritsu to Keishou" (Senritsu and Crystals), written by Yojiro Noda of the rock band "RADWIMPS," was performed, and this time, jacket art inspired by the album was also released along with still images.
