The final episode of the TBS Sunday Theatre drama " Caster " starring Hiroshi Abe (Sunday 9pm) was broadcast on June 15th. On social media, viewers expressed their desire for a sequel and some said, " Hiroshi Abe was the best!"

It was revealed that Chief Cabinet Secretary Hanyu (Kinya Kitaoji) was poisoned to death by Kageyama (Renji Ishibashi) and the reason why the crash of a Self-Defense Force transport plane 43 years ago was covered up.
Shindo points out that the Self-Defense Force transport plane that crashed was carrying plutonium, and threatens Kunisada (Hideki Takahashi Hideki) that he will tell a weekly magazine if he does not confess to the murder of his father, Tetsu (Yamaguchi Makiya).
Kunisada revealed, "That nuclear fuel was transported to be converted into nuclear weapons for the U.S. military in Japan. The bringing in of nuclear weapons was included in a secret agreement between Japan and the U.S. after the war. It was a top-secret matter that must never have been known to the public. Even in the Reiwa era, 80 years after the end of the war."
"Does that mean that the introduction of nuclear weapons into the country is still ongoing?" Shindo asked. Kunisada responded, "That would be a major scoop, wouldn't it? If this fact were made public, anti-American sentiment would skyrocket, just like the security treaty protests of the past, and the country would be divided. Can you weigh this truth against the Japanese people?"
Shindo confronted him, saying, "What kind of secret agreement is this? Even if you cannot reveal the truth, I will have you resign from your position as chairman of JBN as compensation." Kunisada resigned from his position as chairman.
Later, Sakikubo (Mei Nagano) points out to Shindo, "It was Shindo who forced Kunisada to resign, right?" Sakikubo further says, "I get it. How to get a bigger scoop than Shindo. Just expose everything behind Shindo's back. There's no bigger scoop than that." Shindo evades the question by saying, "I won't take responsibility even if this country is turned upside down."
