On June 7th and 8th, actress Suzu Hirose visited Okinawa, where the story is set, for the first part of the "nationwide caravan" for the movie "Treasure Island" (directed by Otomo Keishi, released on September 19th). On the 7th, she attended the stage greeting at the Okinawa premiere preview screening, held in Naha City. She showed off her beautiful décolletage in a camisole-type all-in-one with a folded-over design on the chest area.
The pants had a loose silhouette with tucks, and she finished off the look with a classy look by pairing her updo with a simple necklace.
On the 8th, she visited Naha Junior High School and held a special "Treasure Island" exchange event. Hirose appeared in a mannish outfit of a black cut-and-sew top with a wide open neckline, oversized jeans, and chunky shoes, and had a lively discussion with 32 students on the theme of "Okinawa's Peace and Future."
The film is based on the novel of the same name by Junjo Shindo, which won the 160th Naoki Prize, the 9th Yamada Futaro Prize, and the 5th Okinawa Bookstore Award. Set in Okinawa, which was under American rule after the war, the film depicts the turbulent 20 years of the young people known as "Senka Agiyar." Hirose plays Yamako, a childhood friend of the protagonist Gusuku (played by Satoshi Tsumabuki).
