The 10th episode of the TV anime "Witch Watch," based on the popular manga by Kenta Shinohara currently serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), entitled "The Sticky Student Council/The Foamy Moments of the Commuting Cat," will be broadcast on June 8th in the MBS/TBS Sunday 5pm anime slot.
Morihito has his eye on the student council, which is full of "cliched" characters. There's the vice-president, Ibu Ibara, a sexy older sister who throws roses at them, the vice-president, Kenmochi Yuzuru, a Kansai-style, gentle-looking man with narrow eyes who looks like he might betray them one day, the secretaries, a pair of twin sisters who are a Western-style lolita tsundere and a Japanese-style horror kuudere, the accountant who looks like he's a genius hacker in elementary school, the PR officer who is a beast-like, massive, muscular man, the general affairs officer who is a psychopathic, knife-licking, crazy guy, and a mysterious robot of unknown identity who also works in the general affairs department. And then there's the student council president, Kiyomiya Tenryu, who never lets his right hand go off the hat he's wearing, who brings them all together, and he appears before Nico and Morihito.
"Witch Watch" is a manga by Shinohara, who is known for "SKET DANCE" and "Astra Lost in Space", and began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Jump" in February 2021. It is a fantastical "magical" comedy that depicts the cohabitation life of Wakatsuki Nico, who is training to become a witch, and her childhood friend Otogi Morihito (Morihito), a high school student with the power of a demon. Morihito is given the mission of being a familiar who protects Nico from a prophesied disaster, and a future full of difficulties and wonders begins. The anime will be directed by Ikehata Hiroshi, who has worked on "Kiratto Pri☆Chan" and other works, and will be produced by Vibrant Animation Studio, which has worked on "The Quintessential Quintuplets ∫∫". It will be broadcast for two consecutive seasons.
