The Fuji TV Getsuku drama "Second to Last Love 3 " (Mondays at 9pm) starring Kyoko Koizumi and Kiichi Nakai has released a synopsis and stills from the 7th episode, which will air on May 26th.
Yoshino Chiaki (Koizumi) and Nagakura Kazuhira ( Kiichi Nakai) have returned from their family home in Shinshu. At Cafe Nagakura, in addition to the usual members of the Nagakura family, Naruse Senji (Miura Tomokazu), Hayata Ritsuko (Ishida Hikari), and Kimura Yuto (Nishigaki Takumi) are all there by chance!
At Chiaki's house a few days after that chaotic day, her friends from the girls' get-together, Araki Keiko (Hiroko Moriguchi) and Mizuno Sachiko (Watanabe Makiko), have come to Kamakura at Chiaki's invitation. There, the Nagakura family, including Nagakura Mariko (Uchida Yuki), Mizutani Noriko (Iijima Naoko), Nagakura Erina (Shiramoto Ayana), and Nagakura Tomomi (Satsukawa Manami), and Ritsuko also join in for a grand girls' get-together.
"Cheers to the ladies!" As Chiaki commands and they get drunker, Ritsuko presses, "What is your relationship with Chiaki and Wahei?" Chiaki is confused by the answer.
At the same time, Wahei and Naruse are drinking at Cafe Nagakura. As the conversation progresses, Naruse, like Ritsuko, begins to ask Wahei about their relationship.
The two of them remember the day in 2014 when Wahei got drunk and proposed to Chiaki. Chiaki and Wahei both said in unison "a certain thought"...
The script was written by Yoshikazu Okada, who also wrote the first and second seasons. Set in Kamakura, the story depicts the love between a TV station producer played by Koizumi and a Kamakura city employee played by Nakai. The theme song is also sung by Ayumi Hamasaki, as in the third season.
