The NHK project "All Super Sentai Grand Poll," in which viewers can vote for their favorite works, Sentai heroes, and Sentai robots from the Super Sentai series, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, announced the results of "Announcement! All Super Sentai Grand Poll," which was broadcast live on NHK BS from 7:30 pm on May 17th, with "Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger" taking first place in the work category.
The program asked fans of the Super Sentai series to vote in three categories: works (all 49 works), Sentai heroes (over 300), and Sentai robots (over 160). The program will reveal the secret behind their popularity by announcing the rankings based on the 596,736 votes cast, as well as passionate messages from fans.
The breakdown of the vote was 52.5% male, 41.8% female, 3.4% under the age of 9, 15.3% in their teens, 22.5% in their 20s, 22.4% in their 30s, 15.9% in their 40s, 15.0% in their 50s, and 5.5% aged 60 or older or others.
