A new PV for the completely new original anime "BULLET/BULLET" directed by Director Sunghoo Park , known for the anime " Jujutsu Kaisen ", has been released on YouTube. The film is a "super fun" non-stop action film set in a near-future world where civilization has collapsed and become a wasteland, and the PV begins with the cry "The soul is roaring! GO AHEAD!", creating a high-tension atmosphere.
It was also announced that the band will be performing the ending theme "Glass Door" by rock band Newspeak. The band members commented, "We are truly honored that Newspeak was chosen to perform the ending song for BULLET/BULLET. Director Park and the production team passionately asked us to express what we felt through BULLET/BULLET in a Newspeak-like way, and that's how the production began. We were touched by the characters' single-minded pursuit of hope in a suffocating world, and we put that resonance into the music. We believe that many people will find light in their own lives through this anime. We would be very happy if our music could play a part in amplifying that resonance even a little."
The anime is based on Director Park's plan of about 10 years. While working at a junk shop, the boy Gear teams up with Qu-0213, a robot with four personalities, and a gambling addict named Polar Bear to run a "thief shop" to take back items that have been unjustly stolen from him. One day, he receives a request from a mysterious girl named Noah who is being chased by a hitman, and is pursued by armed groups and vicious hitmen in the wilderness. What Gear has stolen seems to be a "secret" that will shake up the world... This is how the story unfolds. Singer-songwriter and rapper Chanmina-san will be in charge of the theme song "WORK HARD".
It will be exclusively distributed on Disney+ from July 16th. It will be 12 episodes in total. The two-part movie version, "Bullet Run Edition" and "Bullet Decisive Battle Edition", which reconstruct all 12 episodes, will be released on July 25th and August 15th, respectively.
