The monster movie "Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla" (2002), starring Yumiko Shaku, will be broadcast on BS12 TwellV from 7pm on April 27th. Mechagodzilla (Kiryu), the strongest anti-Godzilla weapon created by mankind, appears and fights Godzilla. This is the second night of "BS12 Godzilla Theater".
The film is the 26th in the Godzilla series. It was directed by Masaaki Tezuka and starred Shin Takuma and Akira Nakao. In this film, Mechagodzilla's concept design has been completely renewed. In the battle scene with Godzilla, Mechagodzilla evolves into a shocking and unpredictable visual.
