American singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams held her first concert in Japan on April 8th at Zepp Haneda (TOKYO) (Ota-ku, Tokyo). It was revealed on the same day that WOWOW will be exclusively broadcasting and streaming the concert in June.
Abrams debuted in 2019. Her relatable lyrics and DIY sensibility have earned her an enthusiastic fanbase, and she was nominated for Best New Artist at the 66th Grammy Awards. In 2024, she appeared as an opening act at several shows on Taylor Swift's "The Eras Tour." She has been praised not only by Swift, but also by Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo, and is one of the new generation of singer-songwriters who is currently attracting the most attention.
This will be Abrams' first visit to Japan, as she is currently on a world tour promoting her second album, "The Secret of Us," which reached number one on both the UK Albums Chart and the US Album Sales Chart.
WOWOW will broadcast and stream the Tokyo performance on the 8th in June under the title "Gracie Abrams The Secret of Us Tour in JAPAN 2025."
