It has been announced that the TV anime "Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra: Starting World Conquest with a Ruined Civilization," based on the light novel from GC Novels (Micro Magazine), will begin airing in July. It has also been announced that Kaori Maeda and Kanon Takao will appear as additional cast members. They will play dark elf twins, with Maeda playing the role of Mary and Takao playing the role of Carrier.
Maeda commented, "Even the evil Mainogura have a sense of justice within them, and their ideas are all somewhat eccentric...It's a very interesting work because you never know what's going to happen next while reading! I'm also happy to be playing sisters with Takao, who plays the career woman! I hope you'll all enjoy building an ``evil'' country with me. Thank you!"
Takao said, "When I found out about the work at the audition, I remember being drawn to the cuteness of the characters and the serious, profound story. Carrier is the twin sister, a girl with many thoughts and feelings. I would like to play the role while paying careful attention to each and every emotion."
The work is a light novel written by Kazuno Fefu and illustrated by Jun. The story follows Ira Takuto, a legendary player who was ranked number one by users in the nation management simulation game "Eternal Nations", who is reincarnated in another world as an evil god who leads the evil nation of Mynoghra, and expands his power together with the characters in the game.
The anime will be directed by Takeyuki Yanase and produced by MAHO FILM. Toshiki Kumagai will play the main character, Takuto Ira, and Tomori Kusunoki will play the sludge Ato.
