The full comments from the cast announced this time are as follows:
◇Comment from Eriko Sato
I was happy when I heard that a sequel to "Kisaragi Station" was being made. I participated in the same role as in "Kisaragi Station ", so it felt a bit like deja vu as I filmed in the same locations. However, the story and development were completely different from "Kisaragi Station", so it was scary and fun. Both "Kisaragi Station" and "Kisaragi Station Re:" are horror movies that children can enjoy, so I hope that children will also watch this one.
◇ Comment from Megumi Okina
New to the cast is Okina Megumi, who plays video director Kakunaka Hitomi. Her role is that of a journalist who closely interviews Asuka, who says she "spent the blank 20 years at Kisaragi Station." Director Nagae had a clear image of Kakunaka in mind, so it was easy for me to get into the role, but on the other hand, as a journalist, my role is to convey the facts from a variety of perspectives, so I had discussions with the director before filming about the wording of the lines and how to approach the role. I would be very happy if everyone could understand that aspect of the story.
◇Comment from Okito Serizawa
Following on from my previous work "Kisaragi Station," I am honored to be playing the role of Hanamura. I was curious to see what became of the people who appeared in "Kisaragi Station," and the new people who wandered into "Kisaragi Station" were also charming, so I enjoyed reading the script. I think that this new work, "Kisaragi Station Re:," will also have a plot that goes way beyond everyone's expectations. Please look forward to its release.
◇ Comment from Nanami Taki
The movie "Kisaragi Station" has returned, more powerful than ever. In the previous film, Hayama Rin got on a train bound for another world. I couldn't help but wonder what happened to her after that! So when I heard about "Kisaragi Station Re:", I was really happy. As a fan, I'm really looking forward to seeing the sequel in theaters! Why don't you join us and be drawn into this mysterious world?
◇Comment from Raiga Terasaka
It's been a while, everyone! I'm Terasaka Raiga, playing Iida Daisuke!! I thought that I would be saying goodbye to the other world, but I can show my face to you all again...! I'm so happy. I savored the joy of meeting the cast and team again. This work is also extremely over the top. There are many surprising developments that will make you think, "Is this even possible?" I'm sure you'll be thrilled. I, Dai-chan, am also working hard! I hope that you will enter the expanded world of Kisaragi Station and love this work.
◇Comment from Yasumasa Okawa
I'm Okawa Yasumasa, who plays Hayato, a host in Hamamatsu, in "Kisaragi Station Re:"! For the role of a host, I undertook the first ever double bleaching! In exchange for damaging my hair, I took the role more seriously! Haha To be honest, I was nervous about jumping into the bonds that had been built up in the previous film, but the stars Miyu Honda(Asuka) and Tsunematsu Yuri (Haruna), as well as all the other cast and staff, welcomed me warmly, and I was able to give my all in the harmonious atmosphere that made it hard to believe it was a horror movie set! I hope you enjoy "Kisaragi Station Re:," which is even scarier now!
