Nine groups have been announced who will perform at the 67th Grammy Awards ceremony, which will be held in Los Angeles on February 3rd (Japan time) and broadcast live exclusively on WOWOW.
Performers include Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter, Benson Boone, Chapel Lawn, Charli XCX, Dortch, Reyes, Shakira and Teddy Swims.
Beyoncé has the most nominations at this year's Grammy Awards with 11. Among the performing artists, Charli XCX has eight nominations, Billie Eilish has seven, Sabrina Carpenter and Chapel Lawn have six nominations each. Dortch and Reyes have three nominations, while Benson Boone, Shakira and Teddy Swims have one nomination each.
In addition, the audio from "Opus," the first and last full-length concert film by Ryuichi Sakamoto, who passed away in 2023, has been nominated for "Best New Age/Ambient/Chant Album." The soundtrack for the TV drama "SHOGUN," produced by and starring Hiroyuki Sanada, which won 18 Emmy Awards, the most in history, has been nominated for "Best Visual Score or Soundtrack."
WOWOW will broadcast the "67th Grammy Awards Ceremony Live!" on February 3rd at 9am in two languages (simultaneous interpretation) on WOWOW Prime and WOWOW On Demand. A subtitled version will be broadcast and streamed from 10pm on the same day. Entertainers John Kabira and Horan Chiaki will act as hosts, and guests include Nozomu Kotaki from the popular group WEST, entertainer Hikorohi, and pop music researcher Owada Toshiyuki.
