The drama series "The Hot Spot" (NTV, Sunday 10:30 pm) starring actress Mikako Ichikawa. The synopsis and stills from the third episode, which will be broadcast on January 26th, have been released.
On a Saturday afternoon, Kiyomi (Ichikawa), Hazuki (Suzuki Anne), and Minami (Hiraiwa Kami), who are off work, invite Takahashi (Kakuta Akihiro) to meet up at a local restaurant. Minami, who has just bought a new smartphone, has the alien's powers help her put the protective film on it neatly.
From the outside, it seems like a normal holiday for four adults, and no one around seems to notice that Takahashi is an alien, but by chance, Ayano (Kinami Haruka), a classmate of Kiyomi and her friends, comes to the restaurant. Kiyomi and her friends end up sitting at a table with Ayano, who has brought her 5-year-old daughter, and try to get through the situation while trying to ignore the awkwardness of Takahashi being at a childhood friend's gathering.
However, unexpected situations occur one after another, and each time Takahashi uses his powers in front of Ayano. With incredible reflexes, he catches a smartphone that is about to fall to the floor, and with extraordinary strength, he lifts a car that is stuck in a groove in a parking lot... Kiyomi and the others are worried that Ayano will find out if they overuse their powers, and they end up encountering a robbery.
Meanwhile, at the business hotel where Kiyomi works, her colleague Yumi (Kaho), who loves urban legends, suspects Takahashi, who never shows his private side, may be an alien...
The drama is a new work by Bakarhythm, who wrote the script for "Brush Up Life" (same station), and the production staff of the same drama. It is a "local alien human comedy" that begins when the main character encounters an alien.
