The first episode of the drama series "Madoka26sai,kenshui Yattemasu!" (TBS, Tuesdays at 10pm), starring actress Kyoko Yoshine, was broadcast on January 14th. Voice actress Mayumi Tanaka, known for her roles as Monkey D. Luffy in the popular anime series "One Piece" and Krillin in the "Dragon Ball" series, made a guest appearance as hospitalized patient Akane Yukawa, which became a hot topic on social media.
The drama is based on Mizutani Midori's manga "Madoka26sai,kenshui Yattemasu!", "My Flustered Doctor in Training" and "I Just Became a Doctor in Training on a Remote Island" (KADOKAWA). The protagonist, a doctor in training, Wakatsuki Madoka (Yoshine), is sarcastically told that "trainees are customers" in a medical field that is changing due to work style reform, and although she is confused, she faces the challenges of veteran doctors. The drama depicts the intense two years in which she faces life as a doctor and a girl, encouraging each other with her fellow colleagues.
When Akane first met Madoka, she mistook her for a nurse. When Madoka was introduced as a doctor, she treated her kindly and with kindness. Meanwhile, Akane complained to Madoka about her back pain, but asked her not to tell the doctor. It's nothing serious.
However, Akane had to undergo emergency surgery. If the diagnosis had been made any later than that, it could have been life-threatening, but the operation was a success.
After the operation, when Madoka apologizes to Akane, Akane kindly says, "It's okay. The operation was completed without any problems. Can you talk to me again?" She also says that she enjoys talking to Madoka, and smiles as she says, "Become a good doctor. I promise, Dr. Madoka."
