It has been revealed that model and actor Erica Murakami, who gained attention for her role in the Super Sentai series "Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger" (2023-2024), will appear in the drama series "Boku no Azatoi Ex-Kano from Azatokute Nani ga Warui no?" (TV Asahi, Friday 11:15 pm), which starts on January 24th. She will play Saki, a girl who shows her cunningness at a group date.
The drama is a new attempt in which the MCs of TV Asahi's popular variety show "Azatokute Nani ga Warui no?" (Thursdays at 12:45am, excluding some regions) Yamazato Ryota and Suzuki Airi comment on the story and lines from the viewer's perspective as the story progresses. The drama depicts the love stories of three people: Sakashita Takumi (Joichiro Fujiwara), who still has feelings for his ex-girlfriend, Sonoda Mei (Shiho Kato), Takumi's ex-girlfriend who has acquired the weapon of "cuteness" through hard work, and Okuyama Asahi (Maria Tani), a career woman who has feelings for Takumi.
Saki, played by Murakami, displays her cunning "waiting to be invited" at a group date by saying, "There's a restaurant where you can compare sake from all over the country," and "I'd be nervous about going alone..."
Murakami commented on the upcoming film, "When I heard about the story, I wondered what kind of cunning girls would appear, and imagined all sorts of possibilities, but I got the impression that there were a lot of tougher girls than I imagined (laughs)." She appealed, "You won't be able to take your eyes off the girls as they perform their splendid plays! Please look forward to the story of the main character who is at the mercy of her cunning! And if you want to know about cunning techniques, this is a must-see!"
It was also announced that popular Thai actor Parth Nakun, who has over 2 million followers on social media, will appear in the film. He will play Rennai, Takumi's colleague who works at a design company.
