The ninth episode of the TV drama series "Wingman" (TV Tokyo and others, Tuesday midnight 12:30), starring actor Maito Fujioka, was broadcast on December 17th. In the episode, Kenta Hirono, a high school student and special effects hero otaku played by Fujioka, is shown transforming into "Wingman" in front of the Kitakura with a more subdued shout than usual, which caused a stir on social media.

In episode 9, Kenta's fighting as a "wingman" is broadcast nationwide, causing a commotion as reporters swarm the school.
Meanwhile, Kenta and Aoi (Kato Konatsu) are faced with their greatest enemy from Podrimus, Rimel (voice: Akio Otsuka). They struggle against the overwhelming strength of Rimel and lose the Dream Note, but suddenly, Kitakura joins the battle. After allowing Kenta and Aoi to escape, Kitakura reveals to them his plan to use Kenta to make the Dream Note grow, and that he is Professor Kitakura (Mamoru Miyano)... and so on.
In the story, it was revealed that all of Aoi and Kenta's battles up to this point had been to help Kitakurar's plan. Aoi collapses in despair and apologizes, saying it was all her fault. Kenta responds by saying, "There's no need to apologize. These guys don't realize they miscalculated." Kitakurar looks on in disbelief, but Kenta replies, "You made me a real hero! Thank you, Kitakurar." Then, looking at the smiling Kitakurar, he slowly strikes a pose, suppresses his emotions, quietly shouts "Chaining," and transforms into Wingman.
On social media, there was a flood of excited comments about Kenta's quiet transformation. Comments included, "He was so cool I got goosebumps," "Kenta's transformation is cooler than usual," "His transformation this time is so cool it gave me chills," and "What a quiet and passionate transformation scene!"
