To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the broadcast of "Rolling☆Girls," an original TV anime by WIT STUDIO, known for "Attack on Titan" and "SPY×FAMILY," an all-night screening event of all 12 episodes will be held at Shinjuku Piccadilly (Shinjuku, Tokyo) on February 1, 2025. Ozawa Ari, who plays Moritomo Nozomi, Hidaka Rina, who plays Kosaka Yukina, Taneda Risa, who plays Hibiki Ai, and Hanamori Yumiri, who plays Misono Chiaya, will be appearing on stage. Original visuals drawn by character designer Kitada Katsuhiko were also released.
Ozawa commented, "Congratulations on your 10th anniversary! Loriga is a work that always remains close to my heart as I go about my daily life. It gives me the strength to persevere when things don't go smoothly, telling me, 'Even if things don't go as well as the heroes in manga, I'll just do what I can.' The way you see Loriga changes as you get older. I'm really looking forward to seeing how Loriga will feel in 10 years' time. I'm so grateful and happy that we can all come together to celebrate the 10th anniversary like this! Thank you!"
Hidaka said, "Congratulations on the 10th anniversary of Loliga! And that a marathon screening event has been decided! I am so so happy. When Loliga was on air, we held advance screenings every other week. We all talked about our impressions, shared our thoughts...I have so many fond memories! To everyone I'll be meeting after a long time, and to everyone who found out about the series after it aired and is meeting you for the first time this time, let's make this a fun screening full of Loliga excitement! I look forward to seeing you all! (Kitada's original visual is so amazing! Just looking at it makes me cry...!)"
Taneda commented, "It's already the 10th anniversary of Loliga! I thought it would feel like it had been a really long time, but we have had official SNS accounts that have been telling us to keep up the good work for the past 10 years, and Muto has been writing spin-offs of the work, so thanks to being in contact with Loliga on a daily basis and being encouraged by it, it strangely doesn't feel like it's been that long. I'm really happy to be able to meet everyone again at the event! Let's have fun and give it our all to celebrate the 10th anniversary!"
Hanamori commented, "It's been 10 years since we started rolling. Sometimes I listen to their songs and wonder how everyone is doing. I wonder if I can see things now that I couldn't see back then because we were trying so hard. Once again, congratulations on the 10th anniversary of Rolling☆Girls! Let's keep on rolling! Do your best!!"
Director Deai Kotomi said, "It felt like the five-year anniversary went by in a flash, and now it's already the 10th anniversary. I'm surprised at how quickly time passes, but I'm also encouraged once again to know that works with universal stories are things that will remain there forever, filled with unchanging passion, whenever you want to remember them. I'm more than happy to be able to reminisce about Nozomi and her friends' journey with everyone again. Congratulations on the 10th anniversary!"
Screenwriter Muto Yasuyuki said, "I wrote 'Rolling Girls' a little over 10 years ago because I wanted to meet these hard-working girls who weren't 'chosen ones'. I would like to thank Tanu and Kitada for giving form to Nozomi, Yukina, Ai and Chiaya. Ozawa, Hidaka, Taneda and Hanamori for giving us their voices. Director Deai for bringing them to life in a fun and lively way. And you for becoming friends. Thank you so much. I hope you will continue to support the four of them!"
"Rolling☆Girls" is WIT STUDIO's first original TV anime, which aired from January to March 2015. The theme of the series is "Girls x Youth x Road Movie," and it depicts the journey of four girls who have become peace contractors (reformers) on a journey to protect peace in an archipelago where all prefectures have become independent nations 10 years after the end of the Great Tokyo Battle over local autonomy.
