Kanna Hashimoto stars in the NHK morning drama "Omusubi" (General TV, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. and others). On December 7th, we will look back on the 10th week, "Hito Sore De Yoka" (December 2nd to 6th). The station's announcer Kozo Takase will be in charge of narration.
"Omusubi" is a "Heisei youth graffiti" about a heroine born in 1989 who always values her own individuality and who, as a nutritionist, connects people's hearts and futures. It is an original work by screenwriter Nonji Nemoto, who is known for NHK's drama "Honest Real Estate".
In the 10th week, Yui (Hashimoto) is asked by Wakabayashi (Shinya Niiro), a Kobe city employee, to help prepare a soup kitchen for a children's disaster prevention training. Yui consults with Sakuraba-sensei (Saki Aibu), a vocational school teacher, and they decide to come up with a menu for the soup kitchen in class.
However, not knowing what to make in the event of a disaster, Yui decides to talk to Misae (Kimura Midoriko), a member of the shopping district who had experienced evacuation during the earthquake.
Once again, Yui is reminded of the tragedy of that time.
Yui also hopes that Misae and Maki's father, Takao (Naoto Ogata), will reconcile... Before long, they need someone to help them because they don't have enough people to help out at the soup kitchen, and Masato (Yukiya Kitamura) suggests Takao's name.
On the day of the disaster prevention drill, Takao appeared at the venue... and so things unfolded.
