"Armored Trooper Votoms" plastic model box art book released

"Armored Trooper Votoms Package Art Collection" (Shogakukan), a collection of art focusing on the box art of plastic models from the popular anime series "Armored Trooper Votoms", was released on November 29th. It features over 100 illustrations of plastic models released by the former Takara, Yamato, Wave, Bandai, Max Factory, and others. It includes works by famous illustrators who have worked on many plastic model box art, such as Shiratori Rokuro, Onoue Masanori, and Ueda Makoto. It also features rare works such as original illustrations for Takara Dual Magazine and illustrations of phantom Max Factory packages that were never commercialized. The column page also introduces Takara sales flyers and "Votoms Gum" that was sold by Kabaya Foods at the time the anime was aired.
