A press conference was held on November 19th at NHK Hall (Shibuya, Tokyo) to announce the performers for the 75th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen, which will be broadcast on New Year's Eve. It was revealed that popular group Number_i, artist Kocchino Kento, and girl group ME:I will be making their first appearance.
Popular Korean group TOMORROW X TOGETHER, Korean five-member girl group ILLIT, dance and vocal group Da-iCE, and Shinhama Leon will also be making their first appearance.
Also making their first appearance are singer-songwriter tuki., three-member band Omoinotake, and hip-hop unit Creepy Nuts. This will be singer Iruka's first appearance in 32 years.
The 75th NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen will be broadcast on December 31st from 7:20pm to 11:45pm (with some news breaks).
