The Fuji TV Monday 9pm drama "Usotoki Rhetoric" (Mondays 9pm) stars actors Suzuka Hiroshi and Matsumoto Honoka. The synopsis and stills from the seventh episode, which will air on November 18th, have been released.

As Shuku Souma (Suzuka) and Urabe Kanoko (Matsumoto) are having lunch at the restaurant "Kurada", a tired-looking Hazaki Kaoru (Mikata Ryosuke) comes in. Hazaki is in charge of the robbery-murder case that occurred the day before yesterday on 33rd Street. He says the investigation is proving difficult.

Listening to their story, Kurata Tatsuzo (Okura Koji) responds by saying that there must be a "haunted house" behind 33rd Street. The house was inhabited by painter Adachi, who had lived there 10 years ago, and disappeared after killing his wife. It is rumored that the ghost of his wife appears there.

Yoshie (Isoyama Sayaka) realizes that she left her shawl at the hospital. Kanoko offered to go and get it, saying, "I always get free food." When Tatsuzo offered to add some complimentary ingredients to dinner, Souma decided to accompany him.

The hospital was quite noisy. In the hospital room, Lily (Murakawa Eri), a waitress working at Cafe Rose, was harshly questioning a regular customer, Kirino Kanji (Kuroba Mario). The night before last, Lily and Kanji had made a promise to go see a movie, but Kanji hadn't shown up when the time came.

On his way to the movie theater, Kanji had seen a female ghost in a "haunted house," and in his surprise, he fell, broke his leg, and was hospitalized. While waiting for Kanji at the movie theater, Lily was called out by a woman (Bando Nozomi) who had spent the night with Kanji. The woman was looking for Kanji, and Lily was angry at him for breaking her promise and cheating on her.

Kanoko, realizing that Kanji was not lying, signaled to Souma. That night, Souma and his friends head to the "haunted mansion."

The original is a manga of the same name by Miyako Ritsuko, which was serialized in "Bessatsu Hana to Yume" (Hakusensha) from 2012 to 2018. It has sold a total of 1 million copies.
