The third episode of the TV anime "The Blue Wolves of Mibu," based on a manga by Yasuda Takeshi, known for the soccer manga "DAYS," based on the Shinsengumi, will air on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV at 5:30 pm on November 2nd.

On the morning of the third day since joining the Mibu Roshi Group, a group of swordsmen who protect the city of Kyoto, known as "Miburo," Nio has memorized the faces and names of the members of Miburo, but he comes face to face with an unfamiliar boy named Taro Tanaka. He is the same age as Nio, and says that he was brought to Miburo by Kamo Serizawa and was staying there. However, for some reason, Toshizo Hijikata tells Nio, "Don't get too involved with Taro." Meanwhile, it turns out that Serizawa killed his friend while drunk. Serizawa tells Taro to dispose of the body.

"The Blue Wolves of Mibu" has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha) since 2021. Set in Kyoto during the final days of the Edo period, the film depicts the lives of the Shinsengumi. The anime will be directed by Kumiko Habara, known for "I'm Standing on a Million Lives," and produced by MAHO FILM.
