The sixth episode of the TV Asahi drama series "My Cheating Husband with 3 Months to Live" (Fridays at 11:15 PM, excluding some regions), starring actor Jin Shirasu, will air on May 29th.
While hospitalized, Aoi Kosaka (played by Shirasu) is advised by her doctor that she should stay in the hospital for a few more days to receive palliative care to alleviate her pain so that she can continue her treatment. However, she refuses to prolong her hospital stay for the sake of her young son, Ren (played by Ono Koshiro).
Meanwhile, Mizuki (Hinako Sakurai), who had infiltrated Aoi's family home and seemingly gained the support of her stepfather Tatsuo (Kazuhiko Nishimura), returns from an outing to find Ren and her stepmother Keiko (Sachiko Funaki) gone. When Mizuki learns that Keiko has left the house and taken Ren to Aoi, she becomes furious, exclaiming, "That old hag betrayed me!" Furthermore, Tatsuo, who is completely helpless without Keiko, arrogantly forces Mizuki to do the housework, pushing her to her breaking point, and she finally begins to reveal her true nature even at Aoi's family home.
Furthermore, Mizuki, desperate to be with Kenji Sunayama (Mitsunori Takahashi) as soon as possible, sends defamatory emails to the company of Kenji's wife, Akina (Kurara Emi), but this enrages Kenji. Mizuki is happy to see him again after so long, but Kenji is furious, shouting, "You stupid woman! Don't ever show your face in front of me again until you get 100 million yen!" He then tears the necklace he gave her as a gift.
Mizuki is heartbroken after Kenji rejects her, and tears won't stop flowing. In her despair, she finally contacts her mother, Ayami Kano (Mariko Tsutsui), herself. Ayami then takes advantage of Mizuki's vulnerability and offers to help her, on the condition that they share the inheritance.
Meanwhile, just before Aoi's discharge from the hospital, Kenji's wife, Akina (played by Emi Kurara), visits her and offers her help, but in an unexpected way...
