The variety show "Kaiun! Nandemo Kanteidan" (TV Tokyo, Tuesdays at 8:54 PM), hosted by talent Koji Imada, freelance announcer Akira Fukuzawa, and former Sakurazaka46 member Yuka Sugai, will feature an extremely rare "legendary tin toy" as a "treasure" on April 14th.
According to the client, the treasure was discovered three years ago while sorting through his grandfather's belongings. He doesn't know how his grandfather acquired it, but he believes it must have been very important to him because it's in good condition and the box is still there.
Upon investigation, I was surprised to find an internet article describing it as a "legendary toy, with only one existing in the world." Even more surprising was the owner: appraiser Teruhisa Kitahara. I'm hoping this might be the second such discovery in the world! Is it the real thing...?
