A web commercial for Zespri Ruby Red Kiwi, titled "Full of Red Honey: Sayu Kiwi - Name Change Announcement," featuring former Nogizaka46 member and talent Sayuri Matsumura, was released on April 14th.
In the commercial, Matsumura, known by her nickname "Sayuringo," is so impressed by the delicious taste of Zespri Ruby Red Kiwi that she changes her name to "Sayu Kiwi." The commercial promotes the deliciousness of the product, which is full of red syrup.
Making-of footage and interview videos were also released. When asked about her "recent premium experience" in relation to the product, which is made from a rare variety of rice that is difficult to cultivate, Matsumura, who announced the birth of her first child last month, said, "Since giving birth, when I go out into town, I've had so many more opportunities to receive help from so many people. When I go out with my child, so many people speak to me when she starts crying. They say things like, 'It's okay,' or 'It's good that she's crying so healthily,'" expressing her gratitude for the kindness of those around her.
She also revealed, "There was a time when I lifted my child out of the stroller, and the weight of the luggage caused the stroller to tip over. Four or five people rushed over and helped me right the stroller." She added, "I think that was a special experience that I could only have because I had a child, and realizing how kind people are to children was also a very special experience for me."
