A stage greeting to celebrate the release of the movie version of the 22nd installment of the popular anime series "PreCure", "Kimi to Idol You and Idol Pretty Cure You and Idol Pretty Cure The Movie: We've Keep You Waiting! A Sparkling Live That We'll Deliver to You!" was held at United Cinema Toyosu (Koto Ward, Tokyo) on September 13th, and Uchida Maaya, who plays the original character Terra in the movie, appeared. Uchida revealed behind the scenes of the recording, saying, "The KimiPuri team is known as a lively team, and they're a really great team with a friendly atmosphere!"
This is Uchida's first time appearing in the "Pretty Soaring Sky! Pretty Cure! Pretty Cure," where she plays Terra, a girl who hates idols. Uchida said, "I almost felt like I was there from the beginning," and it seems she was quickly accepted into the team. Ayane Sakura, who also plays the original character Amas, nodded and said, "I was accepted into the team so quickly that I wondered if I was a Pretty Cure too."
Misato Matsuoka, who plays Cure Idol Sakura Uta, said, "In the scene where Terra reaches out her hand, (Uchida) acted as if she was reaching out her hand. Terra's feelings reached Uta, and thanks to Maaya, the performance turned out differently from what we had practiced." She seemed to be inspired by working with her.
Natsumi Takamori , who plays Cure Kyun Kyun/Shiu Kokoro, said about working with Uchida and Sakura, "They were both powerful and I felt like they were pulling me along."
Also appearing on stage to greet the audience were Takahashi Minami, who plays Cure Ink/Aokaze Nana, Yoshino Nanjo , who plays Cure Zukyoon /Purirun, Miharu Hanai, who plays Cure Kiss/Meloron, and Tsuda Atsuhisa, who plays Totto in "Diane."
The movie tells the story of Uta and her friends taking part in the Super Miracle Idol Festival held on the mysterious Aiai Island, only to be transported back in time... PreCure characters from "Wonderful PreCure!(Wanpuri)" and "Soaring Sky! Pretty Cure(Hiropuri)" also appear.
The motif of "You and Idol Pretty Cure" is "idols," and the theme is "Because of you, we can shine and become stronger!". The legendary saviors, Idol Precure, sing, dance, and give "fan service" for "you," whether it's the people they love, the people they care about, the people who support them, the people next to them, or the people in front of them, and your presence makes Idol Precure shine brighter and stronger.
