A stage greeting to celebrate the release of the movie version of the 22nd installment of the popular anime "PreCure" series, "You and Idol Pretty Cure," titled "You and Idol Pretty Cure to Idol PreCure♪ Omawari! A Sparkling Live for You!", was held at United Cinema Toyosu (Koto Ward, Tokyo) on September 13th, with voice actors including Misato Matsuoka, who plays Cure Idol Sakura Uta, appearing. Matsuoka and others spoke about the appeal of the live performance scene, one of the highlights of the movie.
As the motif of "You and Idol Pretty Cure" is "idols," the live performance scenes have become popular. Matsuoka commented on the live performance scenes in the movie, "They're really full of sparkle and excitement!", while Natsumi Takamori, who plays Cure Kyun Kyun/Shiu Kokoro, nodded and said, "Everyone was fighting during the song, and it got me excited. They also performed covers of songs from "Wonderful PreCure!" and "Soaring Sky! Pretty Cure," and Miharu Hanai, who plays Cure Kiss/Meloron, seemed surprised, saying, "I never thought I'd be able to sing this song!"
Maaya Uchida, who plays the original character Terra in the film, was excited, saying, "It's gorgeous and full of happiness!", while Ayane Sakura , who plays the original character Amas, said, "I thought, 'The end of the year has come!' It's so luxurious! It took over all my senses, and I felt such an exhilaration that I didn't want to leave this world."
Also appearing on stage to greet the audience were Takahashi Minami, who plays Cure Ink/Aokaze Nana, Yoshino Nanjo , who plays Cure Zukyoon /Purirun, and Tsuda Atsuhisa, who plays Totto in "Diane."
The movie tells the story of Uta and her friends taking part in the Super Miracle Idol Festival held on the mysterious Aiai Island, but are transported back in time... PreCure from "Wanpuri" and "Hiropuri" also appear.
The motif of " You and Idol Pretty Cure" is "idols," and the theme is "Because of you, we can shine and become stronger!".
