The NHK Asadora drama series "Anpan " (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 am and others), starring Mio Imada , will enter its 18th week, "Futari shite Aruku Ima ga Shiawase" (We're walking together, happy now) on July 28. The synopsis and scene cuts have been released.

" Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobu (1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." It is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living, depicting how these two, who were once nobody, overcame all sorts of rough seas to become "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
In the 18th week, three months after Nobu (Imada) and Takashi (Takumi Kitamura) confirmed their feelings for each other, Nobu comes to Kochi to campaign for Tetsuko (Toda Keiko).
Tetsuko is re-elected, and one day, after a while, Nobu quits his job at the newspaper and moves to Tokyo. Tomiko (Nanako Matsushima), who had heard about the situation from Nobu in a letter, tells him that it is a man's duty to get a job and put Nobu at ease, and encourages him to take the employment exam at the Mitsubishi Department Store.
