"School of love." -"Host" Raul's comments at the end "too shocking"

The first episode of the drama series " School of love. " (Fuji TV, Thursdays at 10pm), starring actress Fumino Kimura , was broadcast on July 10th. The behavior of the host Kaoru (played by Raul) at the end of the episode became a hot topic among viewers.

The drama is an original love story written by Yumiko Inoue, known for her work on "Hirugao: Love Affairs in the Afternoon" (Fuji TV). Kimura plays Ogawa Manami, a serious high school teacher, and Raul plays Kaoru, a host who is bad at reading and writing.

Aimi is pressured by the mother of her student, Natsuki Sawaguchi (Miu Hayasaka), who is addicted to host clubs, to make Kaworu sign a letter of intent that she will never contact Natsuki again. Aimi, who knows that Kaworu can't write well, gives him "private lessons" in kanji and somehow manages to get him to sign the letter of intent.

However, when the school saw the handwriting that Kaworu had worked so hard to write, they refused to accept it, saying, "This is terrible handwriting. We can't trust someone who writes like this." Aimi supported Kaworu, saying, "But he wrote it seriously. I want to believe him."

Immediately afterwards, Aimi muttered to herself, "Why did I say I would believe in the host who had deceived my students? Maybe it's because, for the first time, I felt that teaching was fun. And probably because I learned his real name."

Meanwhile, Kaworu reports on Manami to Matsuura (Sawamura Ikki), the president of the host club "THE JOKER."

"The other day, a high school teacher came to the store to give a lecture. That seems like a good idea. Her father is a company executive. She was probably brought up as a rich girl and is quite fat. She's quite lonely."

Kaworu grinned after receiving instructions from Matsuura to "give them dreams." He was then shown crumpling up the paper on which Manami had written kanji as an example, saying, "I'll train them well, just as the president taught me. From now on."

On social media, comments such as, "No way! The ending was too shocking," "Kaworu seemed a bit ominous at the end, but it's okay, right...? He's not a bad guy, right?", "I didn't understand anything at the end...," "The ending was so shocking that I nearly turned over. I couldn't tell what was going to happen next," "The last scene left me feeling painful, like, wow... I've been tricked... I guess I'm an easy target too...," and "I can't tell if everything Kaoru said and did was actually a lie, so I want to know what happens next."
