Asadora"Anpan" average viewership rating for the 13th week

It was revealed on June 30th that the weekly average viewership rating (households) for the 13th week of "Saraba Namida" (June 23rd to 27th), the NHK Asadora drama series " Mio Imada " (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8am and others), starring Imada Mio, was 16.2%, the highest for the show (calculated from a survey by Video Research, Kanto region).

" Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobu (1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." It is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living, depicting how these two, who were once nobody, overcame all sorts of rough seas to become "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."

In the 13th week, Jiro (Ayumu Nakajima), who is hospitalized, dies of lung disease. Chihiro (Motoki Nakazawa) also passes away. Nobu (Imada) and Takashi (Takumi Kitamura), who have both lost loved ones, are reunited for the first time in a long time.

One day, Kentaro (Fumiya Takahashi) suddenly comes to the Yanai house. Taka is surprised, but they start looking for a job together. Meanwhile, Nobu, who has quit his job as a teacher, uses a shorthand book to decipher the message left by Jiro and studies hard from that day on. He is invited by Tokairin (Kenjiro Tsuda), whom he met by chance, to take the entrance exam for the Kochi Shimpo newspaper.

A few days later, Nobu took the written and practical exams and then the interview. It was pointed out that he had once been featured in an article as a model of patriotism, and he was pressed on whether his thoughts hadn't changed that much...
