"A Calm Sea and Beautiful Days with You" Episode 9 synopsis released

The drama series " A Calm Sea and Beautiful Days with You " (Fuji TV, Thursdays at 10pm) starring Kyoko Yoshine . The synopsis and stills from the 9th episode, which will air on June 19th, have been released.

Natsumi Ebata (Yoshine) and Masaru Taki (Kyouya Honda) have been married for a year. They are at the sisters' parents' house to help Natsumi's second elder sister Akina (Miyu Sakihi) with the birth of her child.

Natsumi sees Akina suffering in bed and becomes anxious at the thought that she may have to give birth alone.

Meanwhile, Fumiko Yoshimori (Maika Yamamoto) and Ryunosuke Fukami (Yuta Koseki) are making good progress with their arranged marriage. While Fukami is waiting at a coffee shop, Fumiko brings her younger sister Yoko (Noa Shirayama) and younger brother Shuichi (Rikuto Ishizuka).

Meanwhile, Akina's contractions are getting stronger. As Natsumi looks after Akina, she becomes worried about whether she will be able to give birth.

The time for the birth is approaching. Takimasa is awakened by Akina's screams and thinks about the child he and Natsumi will have together. He thinks that he might not be able to be by Natsumi's side during the birth, and that she might end up going through the pain alone.

The story is based on the manga of the same name by Nishika Hachi, which is currently being serialized on Kodansha's manga app Comic Days. It depicts the love story that begins in 1936, when Natsumi, who was proposed to and married on "zero days of dating," and Imperial Navy lieutenant Takitaka Ebata begin their married life together.
