It has been announced that a one-hour special of the variety show "TV Chidori" (TV Asahi), which stars the comedy duo "Chidori", will be broadcast from 10:15 pm to 11:09 pm on June 8th. This will be the show's first overseas location shoot, and Chidori will go on an unusual journey in Los Angeles, USA.
This trip was made possible by Daigo, who is a big fan of Shohei Ohtani of the MLB Los Angeles Dodgers. They ate at a restaurant that Ohtani commented he loved, and visited "holy places" such as a photo spot with a large mural of Ohtani. They also watched a Dodgers game, and Daigo witnessed Ohtani's "miracle" at his favorite Dodger Stadium.
However, while they were supposed to enjoy Los Angeles, Daigo was seriously involved in the troubles that followed. Special guests also appeared, adding to the excitement of the program's first overseas location shoot.
