It has been announced that Meat Spa Tsuchimoto's manga "Limited Office Lady Kirigiri Giriko," currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+," will be made into a short anime and begin streaming on Official X and other platforms on May 28th. The gourmet manga depicts the somewhat deep eating habits and human relationships of "Limited Office Lady" Kirigiri Giriko, and each episode of the anime will be a short animation of about 30 seconds. It will be streamed every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 7pm. There will be a total of 32 episodes.
Voice actors Shimizu Kaori will play the role of Kirigiri Giriko, Yuzuki Ryoka will play the role of Ichikawa Aya, and Kowaka Kazuna will play the role of Himekusa Yuri. The anime will be produced by Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. (DNP). The film will be made into a movie using DNP's unique light animation method, which converts manga manuscripts directly into animation.
The work is a gourmet manga in which Kirigiri Giriko, a "marginal office lady," reviews the "marginal meals" she eats to survive each day. It won first place in the "Jump+ serialization competition ranking" on the manga submission and publishing site "Jump Rookie!" and is being serialized in an indie publication.
