Actor Riko Fukumoto served as MC for a video of a cast event in Japan for the film "Mission: Impossible - Final Reckoning" (released May 23rd) that was posted on TOHO Cinemas' official YouTube channel, and her English interview has become a hot topic.
Fukumoto interviewed the lead actor, American actor Tom Cruise, and the cast, as well as director Christopher McQuarrie, in English. She asked Cruise, "If someone attacked me right now, how would you help me?" and elicited his divine answer: "As long as I'm here, no one can lay a hand on me. They can't even get close. No matter where they come, I'll stop them. Don't worry."
Viewers of the video left a stream of comments such as, "Wow, Fukumoto Riko can speak English like that?", "Riko's amazing, she speaks English fluently", "She's so cute! And she's good at English too!" and "She's brought out the service spirit in Tom Cruise."
